What about my rights ass

I'm fine with protests. Seriously, you have a right to protest something that you feel strongly about. What I abhor is the asinine way in which these extreme left organizations carry out their protests.

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Thousands of cyclists snarled traffic in New York on Friday night and police said they arrested more than 250 people and confiscated their bicycles in the first significant protest against President Bush before the Republican convention.

Friday night's protest lasted several hours at a time when central Manhattan was crowded with theatergoers and people at restaurants and bars. Traffic was brought to a virtual standstill in the chaos.

If you want to protest something, fine, but this is not the way to do it. How many peoples businesses did this affect? Cab drivers, messengers, restaurants, and whatever else lost money because of this. If I was stuck in traffic for seven hours because some bastards felt like they were saving the world they had better be wearing some helmets because some bikes would be going down.

They have a right to protest, but they don't have that right at my expense.
